Apple filed few days ago a patent to let you order and be alerted when your order is ready from an electronic device. Source: Forbes
Translation: you might get a fancy widget on your iPhone/iPod Touch to order your big Mac and fries and get a bip back when your succulent meal is ready to enjoy.
Easy to imagine the deals with large commerce chains; the special iCashier to speed up the wait and make everybody want to get the magic system... hence the patent. Zune et al, no can do :)
