Apple filed few days ago a patent to let you order and be alerted when your order is ready from an electronic device. Source: Forbes
Translation: you might get a fancy widget on your iPhone/iPod Touch to order your big Mac and fries and get a bip back when your succulent meal is ready to enjoy.
Easy to imagine the deals with large commerce chains; the special iCashier to speed up the wait and make everybody want to get the magic system... hence the patent. Zune et al, no can do :)
AAPL is up 1.3% in a market down the same amount.

Market cap overview. Innovation pays out...
Here's a quick look at market capitalization evolution in the last 10 years .
Basically, you have:
1. the historical, forever here, stars that are now only getting back to levels they knew before the bubble bust in 2001: HP, IBM, MSFT. With a special mention for Adobe who is above its highest level
2. those who are not recovering: Yahoo and Ebay
3. and those way above: Google and Apple.
What has the 3rd category in common: they innovate in new sectors...
